Cookies

What is stored in your browser, and why.

The short version

FileDeck does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. We do not ask you to log in, so we do not set sign-in cookies.

What is stored on your device

Language preference (markpdf:lang, in local storage). Remembers whether you chose English or Bengali. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Theme (markpdf:theme, in local storage). Remembers light or dark mode.
Support reminder (markpdf:support in local storage, and a flag in session storage). If we have shown the optional "support FileDeck" card, this remembers when, and whether you closed it, so we do not ask again for a while. It contains no personal information and never leaves your device.

Third-party requests

To display the site we load web fonts from Google Fonts and some PDF-rendering helper files from the jsDelivr network. Like any web request, these let the provider see your IP address and browser details. Their handling is described in their own policies. Our hosting provider may also set technical cookies or collect aggregate usage statistics needed to run the site.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. The site keeps working; it will simply forget your language choice.
