FileDeck

Privacy policy

What we collect, what we don't, and why.

Last updated: 10 October 2026

This policy explains how FileDeck (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use this website. We have tried to keep it short and specific.

Your documents

Documents and images you open in a tool are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to us. We cannot see them and do not keep copies. The only exception is the AI tools; see below.

AI tools

When you use an AI Write tool, Summarize or Translate, the text you enter or extract from your document is sent to an AI service through our backend so it can generate a reply. We do not store that text. The AI service processes it under its own terms. Please do not use these tools for confidential documents.

Information we collect

  • Messages you send us. The contact form opens your own email app. We only receive what you choose to send, and we use it only to reply.
  • Basic technical data. Like any website, our hosting infrastructure may process your IP address, browser type and the pages requested to deliver the site and keep it secure. We may also see anonymous error reports if a page fails to load.
  • Preferences on your device. Your language choice is stored in your browser's local storage. See our Cookies page.

Information we do not collect

We do not require accounts, so we do not collect names, passwords or payment details, and we do not run advertising or ad-tracking.

Third parties

  • Our hosting provider delivers the site.
  • Google Fonts provides web fonts, and the jsDelivr network provides some PDF-rendering helper files.
  • An AI service handles text for the AI tools, as described above.

Your choices and rights

You can clear the stored language preference at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you (for example an email you sent us). Write to mail@suhanurrahman.com and we will help.

Children

FileDeck is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
