FileDeck

Terms & conditions

The simple rules for using FileDeck.

Last updated: 10 October 2026

By using FileDeck you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The service

FileDeck provides free online tools for working with PDF files. We may change, add or remove tools at any time.

Your files and content

You keep all rights to your documents. You are responsible for having the right to use, edit and convert the files you open, and for keeping backups. Always keep the original of an important file: tools that edit or compress a document create a new file and can change its appearance.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use FileDeck to break the law or to infringe other people's rights.
  • Do not forge documents or signatures, or use the tools to deceive or defraud others.
  • Do not unlock a PDF that you are not authorised to open.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt the site or probe it for weaknesses without permission.

Signatures

The Sign tool places your drawn or typed signature on a PDF. It is a visual signature, not a certificate-based digital signature, and may not be legally sufficient for every purpose. Check the requirements that apply to you.

AI-generated output

Summaries and translations are generated automatically and can contain mistakes. Check important details against the original.

No warranty

FileDeck is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every PDF will convert or edit perfectly.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the site.

Donations

Donations are voluntary, support the project and do not buy extra features or guarantees.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
